Monthly Feature - June 2015

Skipped May 2015 feature as there is nothing to feature lol.
Toughest semester so far have passed, and I am expecting a pass mark on all units. Now June has flown so fast and I was able to attend Supanova Pop Culture Expo 2015. Shot a handful of people so now I can post a photo to feature. Currently on a month break and will start on my final semester by half of July, am hoping to graduate by December 2015! 

TL;DR now for the feature!

Monthly Feature - April 2015


Assessments & deadlines everywhere. Schedule's so tight I forgot to do a March & April feature.
Anyways, I just finished an assessment yesterday and I had time to do a quick post in the library. 

No possible shoots in the horizon for May 2015 so far. Got my hands filled with essays and exams. 

Anyways, excited for June-July, I might get my self a new lens or a new baby camera :D (Big Grin)

Monthly Feature - January 2015


Ahh yes, So my devart account almost died for two months. Good thing I got invited for a shoot this February and thus I remembered I had a devart account that needs updating.

For now, I'll just fill this up with a supposedly January 2015 feature that I should have wrote a month ago, and the topic I was thinking back then was about infrared photography.

I really wanted to venture into IR photography and I just saw this IR filter at a camera gear shop and just jumped on the boat. I googled how to do IR photography and now with the knowledge I just have to put it to test. 

My first attempt to IR Photography has failed, colors just sucks and it just looks bad. It does look something different from the norm but It just didn't came out as I was imagining it.

Having failed, I did not quit yet, I tried again and luckily my second try was beautiful.

I'm not sure how I failed the first one and how I managed to make the second photo look good. All I know now is that IR is hard but fun, I was frustrated when I got the first failed photos. But that inspired me to continue, I will shoot some more IR in the future it's just that I don't have the time for it now.

I was both Lazy and Busy, hence the late December 2014 post. LOL!

Anyways, I bought a B+W 3.0 ND MRC 110m Filter and a Haida Infrared 720nm Filter some time in December.
Have been playing with them since then and got some lovely and some failed results.

This was my first time playing with the B+W 3.0 ND MRC 110m Filter.
